This
site started out a long time, back in 1994, when I built my first html page.
From
there, it only got worse; much worse. And now, as you can see, we're up
to a full-fledged nightmare with blogs, updates, twitter feeds and
other crap that really, honestly, no one reads.
I
get a lot of email asking about "Sirkin.com" and where my family comes
from... my particular family name was derived from Sorkin. The typical
Ellis Island story applies - it was changed when my family came to
America from Eastern Europe. From what I have gathered, the family
split - one side to NY and the other to Michigan. I'm a distant
relation to Irving Berlin (or so I'm told). Nothing stated here has
